A squint fact, for the Squint in us all

When talking about trauma to skeleton there are three main terms used to describe when the damage occurred.

Antemortem: before death
Perimortem: around the time of death (not necessarily the cause of death)
Postmortem: after death has occurred

There's a dead bird in my yard *goes to poke it with a stick to see it's injuries & to see how in was murdered...YES, murdered!!!!

I don't even need to inspect the bird, and I already have a suspect!!!
I won't say her name, but her name starts with J and ends in 'em'...

Use beetles to extract the flesh and leave the bones. Then you have to check is it was a female bird or male bird...

I think the trauma is Perimortem. I know how it died anyway, I don't even have to look; It hit the window!!! :(

I had 2 dead birds in the garden over the summer and I have no clue how they died. They died within days of each other too. I suspect poisoning; I put out loads of weedkiller. I wonder if i'll go to jail?

Wait....why is my garden full of dead birds? At least it's not as bad as all those birds that fell outta the sky a few months back in....Arkansas??
